Canon has long been an advocate of the Kyosei philosophy which is defined as “living and working together for the common good”. We believe that all humans, regardless of race, language or religion should live and work harmoniously together for the greater good of mankind and we’ve aligned ourselves closely with this belief for the imageRUNNER ADVANCE line of products.

We go a step further to state that we realize that raw materials and manufacturing parts are significant contributors to environmental impact. Hence, we have set a quantifiable environmental goal, called Factor 2, that will reduce our environmental burden by doubling our resource efficiency through an increase of the ratio of net sales to life cycle CO2 emissions by a factor of 2.
